SUMMARY OF POSITION
In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Cook is responsible for all aspects of food preparation including prep, cooking, baking, slicing, roasting, etc. in accordance with state regulations. Will prepare meals from scratch and keep accurate inventory control.

Requirements
Requirements:
High School education or equivalent (Strong English and Math background needed).
One (1) year experience in Nursing Home/Hospital type setting as a cook preferred
SERV Safe required or obtained within 3 months of being hired
Must have reliable transportation
Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Able to perform basic math calculations, i.e. weights, temperatures, fractions, measurements, etc.
Able to measure solids and liquids according to recipe specifications.
Must be reliable and consistently at work when scheduled
