About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience with automation tools, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud governance. You will work closely with the development team to streamline the software delivery process and improve overall software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- Manage and configure cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and ensure adherence to cloud governance policies.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement new features and improve existing systems.
- Work with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development or operations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and experience with cloud governance tools such as CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, New Relic, or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
